Hermès Men’s FW25: Softness, Structure, Sophistication
Véronique Nichanian’s latest collection blends luxurious fabrics, and technical innovation to create a wardrobe that’s at once timeless and modern.
On Saturday in Paris, Véronique Nichanian unveiled Hermès’ latest men’s collection, a masterclass in blending function with artistry. The collection, rooted in the concept of “inhabiting time,” invites wearers to “enter a garment as you would a house by dressing with the feeling of being welcomed.”
The collection began with travel coats and racing-inspired jackets designed to “brave winter’s bite” while maintaining the effortlessness Hermès is renowned for. Compared to previous collections, there was more of an emphasis on technical designs that were structured yet soft.
The colour palette of the collection also played with this softness, drawing from nature’s muted tones – charcoal grey, chrome green, and bronze – and unexpected accents of blood orange and vanilla.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Hermès collection without impeccable attention to craftsmanship. Étrivière leather trims, horn buttons and glove-inspired stitching elevated even simple garments into works of masterful craftsmanship.
